Seka

Date of birth: April 15, 1954

Bio: Seka (born as Dorothea Patton in 1954) is undoubtedly one of the most famous and outstanding porn stars of late 1970s and 1980s.

She was born in Radford, Virginia, and attended high school in Hopewell, where she became the winner of several beauty pageants. In 1970s Dorothea ran a number of adult bookstores, and this is when she felt that she should become a porn star. She did her first nude layout, which brought her an offer to take part in a short adult movie. At the very beginning of her porn career Patton used the names "Sweet Alice" and "Linda Grasser" until she came up with the screen name that was meant to become famous all over the world, Seka. The movie that brought her the fame and success that she was looking for was "Blonde Fire" released in 1978, where Seka starred with John Holmes.

Seka took part in over 200 hardcore videos including "Blue Ribbon Blue", "Seka's Anal Ecstasy" , "Olympic Sex Fever", "Blondes Have More Fun" and many more. In 1982 Seka left porn industry for nude modeling and stripping. She said that adult videos did not pay her what she wanted, and the HIV epidemic of the 1980s was one more reason to retire. However, in the early 1990s Seka returned to the industry and starred in a couple of movies including "American Garter". She claimed that her favorite screen partners were Jamie Gillis, John Holmes, Mike Ranger and Paul Thomas as well as Veronica Hart, Kay Parker, Candida Royalle and Aunt Peg. Seka was not only an outstanding performer, she was a gifted businesswoman who managed her own career brilliantly and never failed to keep herself on the top.

Seka is a member of both the AVN Hall of Fame and the XRCO Hall of Fame. more info »
